so i have a friend that has a 5 yr old
my friend n her father lives in southern california.. they broke up n after 2 yrs wen the child was born.
just recently he took her and move to the north california. she called the police but the police said there is nothing they could do, which we dont understand because i thought that a person is suppose to know how to get a hold of her and know where she is but the father change number, change address and when she actually found out where he lives, he changes his number again and change his address. the family claims that they do not know where he is either, but they will not tell us their own address so they seem pretty suspicious. What else can we do? She cannot afford a lawyer or a private investigator at the moment. We just need help! so far, we found out where his aunt lives. But really, having her address wouldn’t help much. (he lived with her for a couple weeks.. at least she said he moved out already). She is very scared to come visit or let them know she is here because he might go on a run again. Please please please help. if u have anymore questions for me, i will keep checking back annd forth. this is very important to us since the cops wont do anything. once we know where he is for sure, then we can actually deal with the law to have her get full custody

thanks in advance n i hope you guys understood what im trying to ask.
she has her daugthers birth certificate and social security card. both father n mother name is on the birth certificate

this is crazy. he is breaking so many laws. Tell her to go to family court. They will appoint her a lawyer. go past the local police. call the sherrif’s department. they dont f*ck around.

who has teh birth certificate? whose name is on it? is her name on it? since she is the mother I would suspect it is. That is what she needs. She should send him to jail. Because he basically kidnapped her child. He is f*cked.

the second persons answer is BS. the child has no right to decide untill they are 18.

She needs to get her kid back. If he is moving around without her permission.

I understand that the rhizomes that entered my yard from my neighbor’s bamboo is called trespassing. Has anyone hired a lawyer to write a cease-and-desist" letter? Has anyone taken their neighbor to small claims court for their trespassing bamboo?

The rhizomes are destroying my hardscape and landscape. They refuse to install a barrier on their property but have no problem with digging a trench in our yard and telling their gardener to cut back any shoots. I have been very clear that they need to contain the bamboo to their yard. I researched ways they can control it and passed along a couple websites and specialists who can assist them in containing their bamboo. They are resisting.

If I install the barrier, the bamboo will be encroaching on my property. Has anyone hired a lawyer to write a "adverse posession" letter? Has anyone tried charging their neighbor rent for the encroachment?

I live in southern California. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.

Sorry, the first poster is wrong. The bamboo is damaging this person’s property. The fact that they (the neighbor), will not take responsibility for their damage would warrant a visit to a lawyer. Most lawyers will give a free consultation of 20 minutes or so.
I have not had personal experience with this, however, I am in college for a Horticulture Degree with a specialty in Landscape Design. One of the things that has been impressed upon me as a student, is that if something you do on your client’s property impacts someone else’s property negatively, you as the designer, or homeowner, can be sued. People spend alot of money on landscaping, ESPECIALLY hardscape. To have someone plant something that crosses over and damages valuable landscaping, decreases the value of the property.
Consult a lawyer. And good luck.

I have been a nanny for a family for over two years, i have never done anything to make them worry about trusting me. the father of the children is my mothers boss at work, he is a lawyer. so he has known me for many years they had to ask me repetitively to quit my other job to be a nanny for them so its not like it was a hire whoever applies kinda thing.

ive always wondered what this thing is and i finally googled it after two years ahha. but it is an ezonics camera.

i have never done anything abusive to the children or anything its just that i dont i REALLY dont like the idea of being watched especially without my knowledge. I live in Southern California. are there any laws that regard this? that they have to tell me im being watched, being a lawyer i would think he would know the rules also so im just wondering.

also, how do you think i should approach them about this. i dont want to jsut let it go. i dont want to be watched, but if they want to, i am their employee and they can do whatever they want, but i just want to be notified, its not like im going to act differently, i just want to know that im being watched all day. its a huge invasion of my privacy i think. the children are fine and the parents and i have never had to talk about anything being a problem before, everything has run as smooth as anyone can imagine.

thats what it looks like

it is an ezonics EZ-801 EZPHONE CAM
well i am really wondering if they should tell me,
i plan on asking them about it. i dont mind i guess if they are watching i could understand somewhat even though its creepy but shouldnt they tell me?

how can i bring it up? i fully intend on asking them about it. im not changing my mind on that
MATIAS G

i am in their house because that is where they want me watching their kids. how is that invading their privacy. if i was looking through their stuff, then i would be invading their privacy. i usually dont even eat their food even though they tell me i can.

It is legal in all 50 states to use a hidden camera. It is illegal to record a person’s voice without permission in CA.

But in looking at the specific phone — it looks to be for Video Chatting on the web, not spying. Are you certain it is on? Nanny cams or hidden cameras are hidden, and usually look like this: http://www.hiddenpinholecameras.com/hidden-cameras.htm
